Bob has over 30 years of technology experience covering technology business management, mergers & acquisitions, and licensing. His most recent position was Vice President of Innovaro Technology Marketplaces’ IP consulting and technology transfer operations. Prior to joining Innovaro, he had worked at IBM, Microsoft, Citrix, and a number of technology early stage/startup companies. At IBM, he started in large account sales before moving to several senior management positions in IBM’s U.S. headquarters. He was the licensing executive for IBM’s Networking Systems labs in Europe before joining the IBM Software Group where he led their mergers, acquisitions, and licensing group. He then moved to Citrix Systems as the Senior Director of Strategy and Technology. In his recent position at Microsoft, he developed the technology licensing program to ensure Microsoft’s compliance with the European Commission’s antitrust decision against the company. Mr. Morris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas and has participated in post-graduate executive education programs from the Harvard Business School, Wharton, and Caltech.
