Dr. Ramesh Rajaduray is an intellectual property (IP) consultant in the Toronto area. He has IP experience both in-house and as an external consultant. He has performed a variety of roles including patent strategy consulting, patent drafting, patent prosecution, patent licensing support, patent litigation support, patent brokerage support. He has worked on North American and European patent matters. He has experience in a number of technology fields including hardware, software, networking, optical communications, financial software and social media.
From 2005 to 2006 he worked with the Kelly Technology Group in Carpinteria, California as a high-technology IP litigation consultant. From 2007 to 2010, he worked with the Legal Department of Protus IP Solutions in Ottawa, Canada in an in-house support role, assisting with both litigation and brokerage support. He worked with TechInsights (previously known as Semiconductor Insights) in licensing, litigation and brokerage support projects. From 2012 to 2015 he worked with Stratford Managers Corporation in Ottawa, Canada and Toronto, Canada to assist clients with patent strategy, patent drafting, patent prosecution, patent litigation/licensing/brokerage support. In September 2015 he became the CEO of Raja Technologies Inc., where he is actively involved in consulting projects as well as the building of an innovation factory. He also has a US patent in semiconductor characterization.
Dr. Rajaduray received a doctorate from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of California, Santa Barbara in 2005. He has a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara (2000), a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Western Australia (1998), and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Western Australia (1998).
