Richard Moses, M.Eng., P.Eng.

Richard has more than 13 years of experience in patent advisory services. He specializes in portfolio assessment, development and monetization. In 2015 he founded Pelent.com – a cloud based solution leveraging artificial intelligence that automates patent analysis and valuation. He has served Fortune 500 companies, SME’s and government organizations across diverse sectors including semiconductors, information technology, telecommunications, automotive, energy and healthcare.
Prior, Richard worked over 15 years at Hitachi Ltd. and IBM – his roles included strategic program management, technical marketing and application engineering. He began his career as a systems and hardware engineer with Philips Information systems.
Richard received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honors) and Master of Electrical Engineering (Honors) from Concordia University. He was awarded the F.A. Gerard Prize, EE Medal for highest academic achievement and scholarship from the National Research Council of Canada. He is an active member of the LES, IEEE and Professional Engineers of Ontario.
