Lewis is a patent attorney registered with the USPTO and offers extensive business and legal expertise in counseling clients on all facets of IP portfolio creation and utilization as a business asset, including strategic planning, development, management, and competitive analysis. As a co-founder of a firm in 1994, Lewis developed expertise in many diverse technologies and business processes, including computer software and hardware, financial innovations, Internet-related technologies, gaming environments, network technologies, telecommunication systems, cryptography, medical devices, microprocessors and semiconductor technologies. Lewis is also the Founder and CEO of IP Street, the First IP Information and Analytics Solution for Business Leaders.
Lewis is the co-author two books, Intellectual Property for the Internet in 1997 and Managing Intellectual Property Rights in 1993. Lewis is a past lecturer at the Center for Advanced Study and Research on Intellectual Property (CASRIP) at the University of Washington and adjunct professor at Gonzaga University’s School of Business. Lewis continues to lecture at various events both domestically and abroad, including events such as the IPL conference in India hosted by George Washington University School of Law and at the Peking University School of Law and China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) in Beijing, China.
Lewis holds both a B.A in Business Administration and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Washington State University and a JD from George Washington University.
