Ron Traficante
Ron Traficante has over 15 years of experience in intellectual property including patent technical and legal analysis, claim chart drafting, portfolio strategy, and licensing. He worked as a patent technology analyst and later as a licensing executive at Intellectual Ventures (IV), during which time, he was responsible for the analysis of a large portion of patent acquisitions in both networking and wireless technologies. As a licensing executive he was also directly responsible for significant licensing revenue across multiple technology domains.
Prior to IV, for 20 years Ron worked in multiple engineering roles including embedded software development, and subsequently software and systems engineering at Qualcomm in both terrestrial and satellite CDMA systems, and later as a principal engineer in multiple bleeding edge start-ups in technical fields including VoIP, WiMAX (802.16) and LTE.
Ron has both a B.S. and Ph.D. in Physics and is currently completing his last year of a J.D. program. He also actively involved in the American Bar Association (ABA), American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
